Xcel Energy activated their 2013 season across three markets promoting their two premier green energy services, Saver’s Switch and Windsource. Xcel Energy activated consumer education and sign up programs at locations such as farmers markets, amphitheaters, and small to large scale festivals & fairs.
Upon entering an Xcel Energy footprint consumers were greeted by outgoing and enthusiastic Brand Ambassadors who educated the consumers with specific program related talking points. After Brand Ambassador explained the program benefits they encouraged consumers to sign up onsite to take part in one of the the green programs and help preserve the the environment one step at a time.
The program activated 70 teams during the summer over the three target markets, and acquired over 1700+ consumers sign ups during the Four month muiti-market activation.
